The College Avenue campus is where it all began for Rutgers. This campus, just steps from vibrant downtown New Brunswick, houses our School of Arts and Sciences as well as other schools including the School of Communication and Information, the School of Nursing, and the School of Social Work.

Our Douglass Campus, home to the Douglass Residential College, houses the Eagleton Institute of Politics as well as the Mason Gross School of the Arts. With its Georgian colonial architecture and sprawling lawns, Douglass campus offers a relaxing natural environment within our urban university.

The youngest of our five residential campuses, Livingston is home to the Rutgers–New Brunswick business school, the psychology and criminal justice departments, a beautiful ‘plaza’ with shops, restaurants, a movie theater, and a picturesque ecological preserve.
